Our Mission

To nurture eco-consciousness in children through garden education, nature exploration and outdoor play.

We know that when given time to learn, explore, and play in nature, we are fostering a future of earth stewards. Through a combination of child-led play and sensory-rich classes in gardening, environmental science, garden-to-table cooking, and herbal apothecary, our young visitors immerse themselves in learning about the natural world around us. We offer experiential learning that supports youth, from preschool through high school, to develop healthy eating habits, learn about our ecosystem, and foster eco-conscious habits. Our programs range from early childhood education, homeschool classes, open play, and community service. We also provide field trips, with scholarships available for local youth organizations and Title 1 public schools.

“It’s a little piece of paradise carved out in the middle of town where kids can be kids and explore the great outdoors. They have a giant sandbox to play in, herbs to smell, cotton to pick, bugs and lizards to spot, water tables to splash in, crafts to make, and more. They are incredibly welcoming, check them out!”

— Summertime Barnes
