What Should I Be Planting This Month?

Spring is upon us in South Florida, and it's time to start planting ~warm season~ vegetables.

Here's our list of essentials: beans, squash, melons, peppers, corn, peanuts, yams, cucumbers, okra, and cantaloupes.

Put down 2-4 inches of mulch or compost to enrich your soil, and make sure to give your new plants a shady covering for a week or so to reduce stress after their move.

Happy planting friends!
